Love Him. BUT can't find him.
I found out when I called to reschedule my daughter's appointment that he's no longer with the practice. According to them, he's only working with newborns at the hospital now (but I'm hoping they just had a falling out and that's not actually true and that he's going back into practice for himself). However, I need to make my daughter's next appointment and don't look forward to the hassle of finding another pediatrician. UGH. Edited because I called Northside Hospital and apparently he is a neonatologist on staff there now and is no longer seeing patients. It would have been nice to have gotten some kind of heads up about that instead of finding out after the fact from the practice.
Dr. Desoutter is the absolute best! I used to see her as a teen and now I bring both my children to her. I wouldn't trust them at any other practice. We have seen Dr. Gorvy, he is very knowledgable, but a little on the straightforward side (blunt). All in all he does provide decent care, but if my kids cannot get into Dr. Desoutter, we prefer Dr. Zager. She has excellent bedside manner with children and great explaining to the parents. Very knowledgable. All in all, Dr. Desoutter and Dr. Zager are the reason we continue to go to this practice. Dr. Desoutter is awesome!!!
Great Pediatrician with a personal touch
Dr. Gorvy is part of PANA (Pediatric Associates of North Atlanta) at the Forum on Peachtree Pkwy. He is truly a gentleman, kind to the kids, and almost like a parent in his care and concern for the well-being of our children. We have been seeing him for 7-8 years and have nothing but great things to say about him. He takes his time to listen to each and every concern, responds in depth, and takes it upon himself to do research into odd problems and calling us back to discuss his findings. Twice, he noticed obscure little things, followed up on those with research/calls, and made recommendations that helped us avoid a long term problem. His yearly checkups are truly in depth where he...
My baby's doctor.
There is nothing more precious to most parents than there children. When your child is sick, you can often feel unsure, confused, not knowing what to do. Dr. Polokoff is a wonderful doctor and I can't imagine life without him. He has not only given the best of care to my son physically, he has always been a source of support for my son emotionally. Dr. Polokoff cares about our family, and that is simply something they cannot teach in med school. The co-pay is worth it. The care we recieve is priceless.
The waiting may be a little long. However, really takes her time discussing problems and providing detailed information concerning childs health.
