I MOST DEFIENTLY ÂWOULDÂ recommend Dr. Naima Cheema just as fast as my insurance company referred her to me when my PCP went concierge, She listened to me and heard all my concerns. Not only was Dr. Cheema very friendly, knowledgeable, let alone thorough, when she took the time to explain everything in detail as far as my (cholesterol, Glucose, and Thyroid) numbers I was taken by surprise. She has been a excellent PCP for the last 22 months!!!!
I've been a patient of Dr. Hecht's for about 3 years now and appreciate his no nonsense and comprehensive approach. He does not rush you through. He takes time to listen to your questions. He challenges you to take care of yourself. I highly recommend him.
Finally a Doctor that listens
I moved a few years ago and have struggled trying to find a new general practitioner that wasn't practicing based on numbers moved in and out. Dr. Barfield finally fits the bill. No fancy office pushing botox and other quick money makers. A doctor that is through and professional that doesn't make you uncomfortable and truly is what a doctor should be now as in the past.
Dr. Barfield: best doctor's visit I've ever had!
I am a new patient to the practice and ended up with Dr. Barfield by default. Lucky me! This was the most thorough physical I've ever had. I was taken back very quickly and didn't have to wait at all while the nurses and doctor switched in and out. But the best part was how kind Dr. Barfield was. She spoke to me in a friendly, personal way. So many doctors are clinical and sterile- they only want to deal with "patient," not the "person." Dr. Barfield was a breath of fresh air! I will recommend her to all of my friends.
I switched to this practice in my second trimester. I was very happy with the supportive and personalized care I received from their mid-wives and was encouraged to try for a VBAC. The office seemed to be run very smoothly. I did end up opting to change practices after a month or so due to the restrictions they put on their VBAC patients. I wished to have a med-free delivery and avoid continuous fetal monitoring but that was not an option so I transferred to a practice that was more supportive of med-free VBAC.
