After being turned away at another Holiday Inn that had rooms available because she will not 21 for 3 1/2 more months, my daughter went to this hotel. She initially was told they didn't have any availability, but they then were able to find her a room. It was a last minute decision to get a hotel, and she said they were helpful in trying to find her a room somewhere else since they didn't think they could accommodate her. I find it absolutely silly that a hotel in the same chain just 2 miles away from one another have such different policies on how old you have to be to check into a hotel. The price was very expensive, but it was better than being on the street all night.
Beat my expectations
Overall the Hotel is beautiful. It is housed in the historic Carbide and Carbon building on Michigan Avenue. I think the thing I felt was the coolest were the amenities. They catered to all of our inner rock gods. How? You can rent, free of charge, your own Fender guitar that will be brought to your room. The service was good. The staff was friendly and our staff went off without a hitch. Front desk was knowledgeable about transit and local events. Also their website was very helpful and showed the attraction within walking distance.
Best In Town Banquet & Hotel of Orland Park
We had a wonderful experince at Georgios Banquets and Comfort Inn in Orland Park/Tinley Park Area! So close to Chicago and the airports. We had many places to visit and this is a great location in the Southland Area. The rooms were very clean and the entire facility was sparkling. Breakfast is Waffles, Eggs, Sausage and all yogurts, fruits, cereals, bagels etc are available BIG Selection and fresh! The pool was so nice we relaxed in the jacuzzi and pool and tanned on the grass outside of the pool. The beds were super comfy and housekeeping visited us frequently making sure we were having a great stay. FREE INTERNET!! We also want to the restaurant Zante for dinner and drinks and it was...
Hip, laid-back, pet-friendly, great location
Hotel Indigo was a refreshing change from the typical bland Chicago hotel with fresh, hip decor, a laid-back vibe, and good amenities. Aveda toiletries are a favorite, so I was happy they stock this brand. The parking garage right next door did a great job (and offers a couple dollars' discount if you pay at the hotel front desk). Our room was comfortable, quiet, pretty and ultra clean. The rate was typical for the area, and the location was perfect for all the Magnificent Mile has to offer. Would stay there again, and bring my dog!
Great Hotel BUT...
It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!
