MORE OB/GYN'S LIKE DR. LAP ARE NEEDED :)
Dr.Lap is what a doctor should be. I had a pregnancy related illness that brought on post-delivery hemorrhage, it was very serious. She was there from the morning I was in labor till 11 at night overseeing my care, she did not leave the hospital until I was in stable condition and never left me in the hands of another doctor so that she could go home. She takes her time with each patient and allows laboring mothers to do what has been done from the beginning of time, labor! She is always vigilant of the health of mother and baby but does not insist on needless interventions to "speed things up" to fit a convenient time frame for herself. More OB/GYNs like her are needed.
She was very informative and her staff was extremely friendly. She realy made my pregnancy a wonderful experience. I will recommend her to my freinds and family!
Like all good doctors in New Orleans, (especially the offices that accept Medicaid), you will have to wait for a little while so be early for your appointment and try to schedule as early as you can in the day. Dr. Ross is great. She helped me through a miscarriage and is now helping me bring my first baby into the world. She is very nice (pretty too!) and strict about not smoking and showing up to appointments. She answers all of my questions, and the nurses are some of the nicest I have ever seen.
dr mcclure is awesome :)

Dr. Charbonnet is a down to earth, smart, caring doctor. She cares a great deal about all of her patients and she has incredible bedside manners. She delivered my now almost 4 year old son. I love her!
