Hardware Stores in Braintree

UGH this place is the best. as a student in cambridge, dickson bros never let me down when i needed some random thing. since targets, home depots, etc. are a little difficult to go to from cambridge if you are a car-less student, i'm so happy i had this place nearby. they've got kitchenware (lots of different mason jars), hardware stuff, painting stuff, electrical stuff, all that jazz. prices are very reasonable. and the people who work there are so nice and always ask if you need any assistance (almost too much). once i needed to cut a dowel in half but had no saw at home so they let me saw to my heart's content in the back. i only wish they were open even a little bit longer. please!!!

They are affiliated with Ace but are a great family operation. If they don't have it they will check their other store and have it brought to this location. Reasonably priced and very helpful.
