My fiance and I really enjoyed working with Frank Yanke Designs to custom create our engagement and wedding rings. I really appreciated working with someone local who is honest & trustworthy, versus a big chain. Unlike the big chains, Frank takes the time to ensure you're happy and you get exactly what you want. He mocked up wax wedding rings so that we could see how they'd look with my engagement ring, and they look perfect together! And his prices are very fair. If someone charges you less for "the same" ring, do some digging to ensure it's the same type of certification (i.e. GIA vs EFL) so that you're not being tricked into a lesser quality stone just for a few bucks. Purchasing an engagement ring is a life-long treasure, so we did check out other jewelry stores before and after to make sure that we made the right decision.
