Preschools & Kindergarten in Utica

I am so happy with the GT Montessori school - the kids are guided with a firm & fair hand. Any concerns I had about Montessori being too unstructured were quickly erased after seeing the results. After 2 years at their pre-school, my child is about to start kindergarten at GT & can't wait to go back to school! She is starting to sound out words to read, she writes well, does basic math, is starting to speak Spanish and knows more than I do about several areas of science! All of this before she even starts kindergarten!

Oak Trails Montessori School is an absolute gem, even though not many people know about it. We could not be more pleased with the preprimary education our two children have received there, and we are sorry that there currently is no elementary program, so that their unique educational experience could continue. If you believe that your child should be educated in a peaceful, low-key, non-commercialized environment, that your child should be able to take nature walks and to garden at school and that your child’s school should be a supportive environment that encourages individual exploration and expression, then you may be an Oak Trails parent! We have sent both of our children to Novi Coop Preschool, and can't say enough about the wonderful teachers and experience at this school. The programs provide an excellent early child education for preschoolers. It is great to be involved in your child's education, and to be able to participate with your child in the classroom. Highly recommend!

I have never been the type to invest in private school. I would work 3 jobs to put my kids in this school. My child was failing in Public School and hated to go. Now she is soaring, connecting with teachers and kids and never wants to miss a day of school. Worth the investment!
