You can take your doggie too!
This wonderful B&B lets your poochie come along too. Though you will have to pay for him (or her) to tag along, at least they are welcome here, but no more then two can stay. They do not allow aggressive dogs - no matter the size, even those little ankle biters. :-) When making reservations they will ask for the breed(s) you will be coming with because their insurance doesn't not cover them for certain breeds. They have a special rate down the road with a doggie daycare in case while your sight-seeing and cannot bring the pooch. The prices are no higher then any other B&B in the area. We enjoyed our stay and plan to go back this Fall08, too.
We just speant a weekend together at the Black Walnut and if you are searching for romantic....look no further. A bit on the pricey side, but our room had a 500 gallon tub with a king size bed fit for just that, a king. One of our favorite parts was falling asleep to the fire. A bit of warning, the house has paper thin walls and our bedroom was on the first floor. If you like to sleep in, this inn is not for you as every conversation could be heard. Overall, we loved it and look forward to a trip there again in the future.
