T&P saved me over $1400!
Thomas at T&P is wonderful! I went to a well known Nissan dealership in Durham and they said it was going to be $1800 to fix my A/C... I decided to get another opinion and went to T&P. Thomas shopped around and found a great price for the part I needed, after everything was said and done, it was fixed for a fifth of what the dealership wanted to charge me. From now on, I'm only going to T&P!
Biggest Little Store in Town
The Shrunken Head has so much Carolina memorobilia and souvenirs packed ito such a small space you'll wonder how they do it! On a football Saturday it's virtually impossible to move in here, yet you'll find yourself amid the throng anyway. The staff is trained fairly well, and the owners are almost always present.
Sleeping Bags, Tents, Boots, and much more!
Townsend Bertram is a one-stop store for all your outdoor needs and desires. Their staff is knowledgeable and can help you find exactly what you're looking for, even if you don't know what you're looking for. The prices are a bit higher than at bigger stores, but it's worth paying a little more for their service.
Go Tar Heels!
I find that their selection of UNC apparel isn't quite as good as Chapel Hill Sportswear, which is just across the street, but they do have a fairly good selection of Tar Heel knick knacks and stickers. Definitely a great place to go for stocking stuffers or that hard to find Carolina item.
Decent Selection, Fair Prices
Their new location has allowed for a greater selection of items, and their prices are fair. We have always been pleased with their skate sharpening. The one downfall is the service. While they have been pretty good on the phone, it's sometimes hard to get someone to help you while you're in the store unless you make them. It could be that they don't have enough staff to man the floor.
