Great place for all your golfing needs and personal needs has well. They even have an indoor teaching facility which is where I spent most of my time. Good selection and great prices and the place makes a name in its self.
Compare yourself to Lefty and Lumpy
Tim Herron (Lumpy) played his college golf here. Phil Mickelson (Lefty) won an NCAA title here. You, just relax and enjoy it. Great golf course at a great price. Challenging layout with great sightlines and nice views. You hardly notict the planes that are landing at the nearby airport. Skip it at your own risk.
My special place
Great 27 hole layout on land I remember being barren on my first visits 20 years ago. One of the best golf values you will find. It holds a special place in my heart, as it is the first course that ever yielded a score below 80 for me.
Golf with a view
If you find yourself in Albuquerque, take the drive up 14 towards the ski area and play this course. Challenging course with great sightlines. One of the longest greens you will ever see (100 yds) is on this course. Regardless of your tee box selection, when you get to 17, walk up to the tees up top. From there you can take in a panoramic view of the entire course. For my money you are better off playing the original 18, and bypassing the new 9. Nothing against the new nine, but the original 18 is tough to beat.
27 holes to choose from. Not as sexy as some other courses in the area, but don't be fooled. Played here a couple of days prior to a Nike Tour (now Nationwide) event and got all I could handle and then some.
