Martial Arts Instruction in West Chester

I highly recommend this school. After attending for more than three years, I can attest that Mr & Mrs Dominach (along with the other instructors) provide individual attention to every student – there are no favorites. Is Martial Arts hard? Yes! Do the kids get tired from an intense practice? Yes! The biggest reason for sending your kids to a school like this is the boost in confidence. About 5 out of 100 kids who start a martial arts program will continue to black belt. My three children have achieved that rank and that is awesome – they are in the top 95%! Because they learn respect along the way, they develop a healthy sense of pride – without the unnecessary arrogance.

I've been training at the GiYu dojo for about 2 years. I have gained confidence and skill, my coordination is better, and I've lost about 20 lbs. My 6 year old son started training with the kids class a year ago. He is much more disciplined and focused than when he began. The classes are taught in a friendly, non-competitive way, by skillful experts who care about your growth and development. Children have grown so much physically, mentally and emotionally. The support they have received from the staff is tremendous. The instructors are phenomenal with all the kids and know how to work with each one to bring out the best in them. And, they are always putting forth a positive attiitude making the kids feel positive too.
