Back Mountain Veterinary Hospital is the best. My cats are a handful, but they take great care of them. I can give them a call at any time and know that we'll be taken care of.
This is one of the first vets that I have taken my pets too that has been this caring to my animals. They always give us great tips to keep them happy and healthy and are so helpful. Bringing my pets to Loyalsock eases my mind because I know they are getting the best care.
Dr Wenger is the best!!!
I have been taking my animals here for years! I got a new puppy and she became very sick it was late on a Friday night so I called Lancaster ER and they said bring her right in! I did and they gave her medicine and sent us home, almost $300.00. The next day she was worse. I called Conestoga they said bring her right in! Dr Wenger said it was a viral infection gave her 2 shots, said they would keep her for the day. Call in the eve. I went to pick her up at 7:30 that eve. She was her wonderful playful self!!! Less than $100.00 For all day!!! Diagnosed and treated correctly!!!
"Mo" is doing much better, thank you. He is eating well, eliminating where he's supposed to and able to be more mobile. Thank you again for the excellent care my pets always receive from you!! That is why we keep coming back!
Dr. O'Neill is especially good re. canine epilepsy
This is a rather specific problem, but we feel incredibly lucky Dr. O'Neill began practicing here when he did. Our dog has severe epilepsy, which stumped previous vets--despite a lot of medication, she had frequent, severe seizures. Fortunately, Dr. O'Neill is unusually skilled at and knowledgeable about treating canine epilepsy, and our dog's quality of life has skyrocketed. (She's 10 years old now, and we forget she even has epilepsy.) We feel like we couldn't be more pleased with the vets and the staff here overall.
