Owner Pak took the time to explain the oil leak issues, offered solutions and never pushed for more un-necessary works like the dealer shops. The job was finished in the time frame as promised.
Heyward has been servicing our vehicle for years. I strayed away once and tried someone else, but quickly returned. I think you get what you pay for and I have never had a problem with any work done at Black Forest. Not sure what the other person's issue was with the receptionist? There are few different ladies in the office, in addition to a cool German Shepherd.
Pat's fixed my Mercedes for 2 dollars
The steering on my 2003 Mercedes CLK 500 was getting noisy. I checked the power steering fluid and it was very low. In a Google search for Mercedes repair shops in my area I found Pat's in Bala Cynwyd, PA at Rt. 23 and Rockhill Road. I called ahead to see if they had the fluid I needed. They said that they did so I drove over during lunch expecting to buy a bottle. The guy in the office waited on me immediately. I told him my power steering fluid was low so he grabbed a funnel and the proper fluid, checked the level, poured in a few ounces of fluid and checked the level again. That silenced the annoying squeal. He charged me only $2. I handed him a 10 and told him to keep the change...
Great place, great value
These gents will try to fix your car, before they even think about new parts! Take their time, and get it right. I drive over 20 miles when I am not sure about something on my car, and they get it right the first time.
Best in the North East!
This guy is the real deal. He eats, breathes and lives German automobiles. I have a 1963 Beetle and a 1997 GTI and he is just as knowledgeable and helpful with both the air and watercooled cars. He is a true aircooled guru.
