My cousin is in Helping Hand and has been for approximately 15 years. The staff at Helping Hand has been extraordinary in that time, taking care of him in every aspect. I know how difficult that must be considering the number of clients they have, many of them very hard to handle. The patience the staff put forth is absolutely incredible. At one point, my cousin had to be placed in a hospital needing surgery for a bowel obstruction and was touch and go for some time. I noticed that every time I or someone in my family made the trip to the hospital someone from Helping Hand was there, on their own time.
