I first contacted Motors NW by phone. I was referred to them by a co-worker that had bought two trucks from them previously. I was in no rush and just needed a few questions answered. I talked to Mak on the phone, he was very accommodating. When I decided to pop-in unexpectedly just to look around I met Rich. He was an excellent tour guide and knowledgable without the pressure. My Rover was delivered here by tow truck after a breakdown (now Dare Britannia -- name change for copyright reasons). Electrical problem, intermittent and bizarre -- but quickly isolated to a failing alternator. I got a comprehensive email report on the trouble-shooting steps plus a phone call to explain the weird symptoms. Also got an after-action report once the new alternator was installed. The whole forensic process was superb. Work was finished in a bit more than a day at shop rates and parts costs comparable to my local garage (Long Beach peninsula).
