La Gloria Market is unquestionably the most authentic Mexican groceria, carniceria, and taqueria in Whatcom County. The fare is consistently of top quality, and I'd go so far as to say that it is the moat delicious I've had the pleasure of eating outside of Mexico, itself. My favorite dishes include the remarkably tender cabrito (kid) barbacoa, chile verde served fork tender on the bone, albondigas (meatballs) which are redolent of cumin, the very roasty and creamy tripa, and the oh-so-melt in your mouth lengua (tongue) The mole is also exquisite. The service is extremely friendly, but it does behoove one to have at least a smattering of Spanish knowledge. The portions are huge...

I love this store. I have been coming here for the past 3 years, and everyone here are so nice to their customers. Its amazing. The clerks seem to know the customers and even when they get busy, they always serve with a smile. This store,to me, provides better customer service than any other business I know in this neighborhood. Keep up the good work you guys!!
